Tires mounted incorrectly, now vibration
Hello All,
I purchased my 2009 G37x in July of 2015 and when I bought the car the dealership I bought it from installed new tires. Not until recently I noticed that 3 of the tires were mounted incorrectly with the "inside" facing out. (Yes, I know I'm an idiot for not immediately noticing, but that doesn't help me now) I immediately had them put back to the correct position and balanced, only now there is a vibration that I can feel in the seat and in the steering wheel. If I let go of the wheel, you can even see it twitch. I think that it could be that the tires have worn incorrectly over the course of 17,000 miles. I'm wondering if this will go away with some miles on them or if they are ruined, and I need to get new ones. They still have good tread on them for being crappy Uniroyal Tiger Paws.

If the dealership mounted them incorrectly, and you have documentation that they did the service, they should at least give you a good pro-rate on new tires, or better yet, get you a new set on their dime. I'd pursue this before thinking about covering this on your buck, but like Black Betty said, new tires are probably the best idea at this point.

omg over 1 and a half year and 17,000 miles on the car and you barely noticed the tires were put inside face out? buy new tires, you are as much culpable to the abnormal wear to the tires as the dealer is installing it wrong. beside uniroyal tiger paws are total c rap.
