The A.R.T process impacts the micro structure of aluminum by utilizing three hydraulic rollers to apply pressure to form the inner rim area.
The rollers move down the barrel applying pressure to compress, stretch, and form the entire wheel barrel producing optimal weight savings while improving material strength.
This process actually alters the grain of the aluminum to produce a wheel barrel that is significantly lighter with enhanced strength comparable to fully forged wheels.

A.R.T helps reduce the weight up to 25% when compared to a standard cast wheel through this finer and more even aluminum structure.
M610 weights for 19” sizes start at 21 lbs/wheel while weights for 20” sizes start at 22 lbs/wheel.

Because that costs a ton of money in R&D. Cheaper to copy a proven design

Well that's their version of flow-formed, rotary forged, etc to get the weight down & the strength up. So while the styles are similar the actual wheel is quite improved. And I guess they must sell enough of these style wheels to keep on keeping on

Good question! Strokelessone & Brad are both correct.

The M610 was brought in because the M310 was one of their first, and still is one of the most popular styles they offer. It is a bit of an older, but you'd be surprised how many people still love that style.
They figured people would be interested in a lighter/stronger version of their most popular wheel. And they were right! As they've been sold out of most sizes of the M610s for the past 2 months!

People do tend to stick to the popular, tried and true styles that they've seen on other cars. Most people who are newer to wheels dont want to go with something totally wild and different. Once you get into it a bit more you start looking for more unique styles that others dont run.
AG does have completely original new styles like the M540s, but of course those arent for everyone.

The other 3 styles are mostly original, there are definitely similar styles out there but no exact copies AFAIK.

So in closing, yes original/fresh styles are great but the vast majority of people prefer more subtle/clean/popular options.

AG will be releasing more rotary forged styles as time progresses, so look out for the updates as we start updating this thread!

Let me know if theres any other questions!
