Vert: 25MM spacers on the rear with 2 inch drop,stock19s
So this was getting installed today, moving from 15mm spacers with previous tire 275/35/19) to 25mm spacers with 255/40/19
It went relatively well.
Setup
-2 inch eibach coupe springs drop on the vert
-rear tires 255/40/19 hankook ventus v12
-fender lining already trimmed
- 3 degress negative camber right now. No further adjustability
-rear vert offset is +30
However some of the bracket was trimmed, but more need to be removed with aggressive cornering with two occupants.
So I have some choices depending on how much play there is at the bumper bracket area.
1. remove it all together, there should be another clip further back (as it is on the coupe) I'll have to check with the vert FSM.
2. shift the nut/bolt for the bracket further back, if possible so it's still "secure" in that area.
3. go to 20mm spacers and leave the bracket alone. Keeping in mind I may have to adjust camber later and probably have to go down to 15mm spacers. Additionally if I go more low with H&R 15mm would be best (per coupe setups with H&R and spacers)
4. Go 20mm spacers now.. and on the next tire change switch to the stock tire size of 245/40/19 and try the 25mm spacers again.
What do you guys think?
pics..
Mobile phone pics.
BEFORE: with 255/40/19 and 15mm spacer
need more wide
AFTER
The bracket on the vert. Kinda in the way.
Getting the front part of the bracket shaved/trimmed with a sander
and we were done
So, the good, the bad and the ugly of choice 1, 2, 3 or 4 . What do you guys think? Oh 20MM is up front and that's fine with a 2 inch drop.
Thanks.

Yeah, so after the drive to work this morning I'm thinking 25mm is too aggressive right now with my tire width, so Ill go to 20mm now. The way it looks, even if the bracket was removed at that location it is too close with laden weight (passengers plus driver) where there is rubbing on bumps and dips.
