But honestly I am not surprised at all. It is after all a company named Forgestar, selling wheels that are actually not forged.

From what I understand, Forgestar (the brand) does sell forged wheels. I believe the F14s (wheels in question) can be purchased in forged (model F14f), or flowformed (F14). The flowformed wheels are more popular. They are supposedly just as strong as forged wheels, but less expensive.

It's hard to find a good looking, light weight, and strong wheel at a good price.

It's a shame Forgestar is having these issues. The F14s are very popular wheels and can be found on many high end cars. From reading this thread, Forgestar definately needs to improve its customer service and and quality control.

Thanks captain Obvious...Take a look at when "Whosurbuddie" posted in this thread.. It was before they started selling forged wheels..

Good first post though

As long as it's on topic, it doesn't matter how old the thread is.

I just ordered a set of 20" F10s in Piano Black... I ordered them on 3/25, and last I heard they aren't receiving their barrels until the end of May. Hopefully their customer service / quality control has improved over the last few months.
