Thanks for the GREAT detail, but I do have a question. Do you know what the weight is of just the rims? I assume that when Tire Rack gives a weight on wheels, they are just weighing the rim.
Your numbers are with the tire right?

Thanks!

Would you or anybody know what the maximum size wheels are that you can put on these cars? I see some people talking about 20's so I guess they fit. Are there max sizes or does it depend on the offset?
For instance there is a guy looking at a set that only comes in 19 X 8.5 and 19 X 10. Would the 10's ever be a problem or are there other factors that I am missing?
Thanks!

For the record, the stock potenza's are very good tires, I squeezed 40,000kms out of them and that includes a few autocross and lots of tire burn & aggressive driving with uneven wear too!

Hmmmm I don't know I've been hearing a lot of people complain about the short lifespan and replacement expense because they are expensive.

Now this going to sound stupid! I was reading again, on what the OEM 19' can hold, and if i'm not mistaking the front can also properly hold 245/40 and properly 275/35 on the back right? Will these settings cause a stretch tire look? If not, again dont want to sound stupid, but i was looking at the math difference in width mm, and divided by 2. So the front is 10mm out, and the back is 15mm out? If I was to purchase the origninal tire sizes with 10mm spacer in the front and 15mm in the back, would it give it the same sit down flush look or general apperance? I plan getting eibach. Long term cost with OEM wheels, is it better to get the spacers $150 a pair, or get the other tire sizes. Which would is less expensive? I had a long day, i think i need an MRI of my head.

let me see if I can help you out.. the "hot" set up, if your keeping the factory wheels are those tire sizes( 245/40-275/35) PLUS the 15mm spacers, so get the spacers now(your going to need them anyway) and replace your tires with the new sizes when yours are wore out... DONE!!

Thanks for the feedback. I was told that with the original tire sizes plus 15mm all around, without a doubt no rubbing anything on eibach. Now with the spacer and the other tire sizes plus 15mm spacer+plus eibach is there any rubbing? I live in Jersey, the highway, streets, are not the greatest, specially now after a long winter, potholes everywhere. Plus this is my daily car, you set the" The Hot Set up", is that like aggresive looking or will the original tire sizes plus 15mm would do the job? Last question bigger tires, what general impact you guys had in MPG. This dude from TIRERACK told me that 245/40-275/35 will cause at least 20% less in MPG, plus a lot of road noise. I can understand the MPG, but that big? I was thinking maybe like 5-10%?

Thanks..... This site is really good, I'm working right now in the ER radiology dept, because im on call, had a little break time, those break times, I come often to check by the new postings, pictures etc....Oh shoot CODE BLUE, got to GO! ! ! ! !! ! !

285/35/19

TireRack just told me that the best size for the rear OEM wheel is actually 285/35/19, what you guys think. They stated that 275/35/19 is not the best that it would be a little shorter. What you guys think? I want no rubbing etc.
