Is there room for negociation in VPP pricing?

Hello everyone (First post!).

I'm getting a D plan VPP pricing (for a purchase, not lease) on a G37 Journey, but I'm wondering if I should try to bargain a bit more on the price once I get the VPP pricing.
Or maybe try to get a trunk net or something...

I don't want to try to bargain if it's not possible, but would like to if there is some more room there.

Thanks in advance!

No.

But, you can negotiate yourself a better PRICE on the car. If you're using VPP financing, then you better weigh your options.

I qualified for D plan VPP but before the dealer knew where i worked and that I qualified I actually already negotiated a better price than VPP, I got mine for invoice a year ago, in todays climate you can easily get invoice but reality is you can get about 800 - 900 under invoice if you hassle them enough

The VPP plan would be actually Invoice minus the current incentive ($2500) plus all the math of the D Plan.

Maybe I will try to get a free cargo net, but it seems that's the farthest I will get.

Thanks everyone!

VPP is a really good deal. I've purchased 3 G's on my VPP. Even with the economy it will still be tough to get a better deal that what you can with VPP. You could but not sure it would be worth the hassle.

It's actually just the math of the D Plan. It includes the incentive.
That ends up being Invoice - 2.x% + 1.x% (delivery fee) - Incentive + Tax + TTL, etc.

At least that was the fist VPP pricing I got from a dealer. It's pretty good deal.

I just purchased my 2011 G37 Sedan - Prem/Nav a couple of days ago and knew I was eligible for the VPP D plan. However, when I went in to do the deal I soon found out from the dealer that this month they were upgrading VPP D plan's to VPP A Plans (same discounts the Infiniti employees get)!!! It knocked off appx $5000 off my MSRP. Walked away with it for $35k!

Plan A is the best way to go... Not only do you get invoice, but you also get all the bonus incentives to get you well below invoice costs. Love the VPP program...

What luck! I've been pondering a new g37 for months and just discovered I get VPP A Plan on my new job. Should I also consider the value in looking at a similar platform vehicle in a Nissan or is the g37 in a way higher class than a straight Nissan?

Lucky you. If you qualify for plan 'A' you must be a direct employee of Nissan/Infiniti. You'll also get a higher percentage off a Nissan, but this really depends on what kind of car you're looking for. If you're in the market for a G37 sedan, the only real comparison to make is with the Maxima. You'll have to judge for yourself.

Was AWD included in your deal?
