The battery died twice today. I called RA and they came in 10 minutes.
The dealer is running the battery test overnight. I will know tomorrow. Hopefully this damn issue will be fixed this time.

i had my car towed to the dealer today. they said the battery was weak and replaced it with an oem one. they want to charge me some prorate thing of 25% or something because the battery only gets replaced for free the 1st yr. how do i get the fee waived. I told the lady about people having their vent control valve replaced so she told me to bring the car in tomorrow morning and they will check it because it doesnt apply to all cars. also the oem battery they replaced it with doesnt look like the one that was in it before but it does say infiniti on it.

I just got my car back from my dealership today having 2 TSBs performed. I couldn't get the gas gauge to read completely full even though I was able to completely fill the tank. And this TSB for the vent valve control draining the battery. The battery has been an ongoing issue since day 1 but I simply made sure to start the car and let it run every couple for days or so if I wasn't driving it to prevent it from going dead. I was at 59,6xx miles so I wanted to get it performed before my bumper to bumper warranty expired.

Clear Lake Infiniti performed both with no issue. I called in last week and set up an appointment so they had a G37 Sedan loaner car ready for me. The replaced the vent valve control, put in the larger capacity M battery, and fixed the gas gauge issue without hassle. They also left my tank completely full because it needed to be full to check the gas tank fix. It only a little under 1/2 of a tank when I left it. All of this wothout any charge for pro rated battery replacement or filling up the car.

Yessss!

My battery died 4 times in a week (this happened about a month ago). So I took it back to the dealership and also called Infiniti Consumer Affairs. I previously received a new battery and vent control valve replaced. This time they said they needed to update my ECM. This posed a problem bc I had a Cobb AP. It had to be unistalled. While uninstalling the battery died again! So I had to reinstall, then uninstall again. Finally all said and done, my battery hasnt died in the past month. Thank GOD!

It's been 2 days and my car starts just fine after Beshoff Infiniti changed the valve control and installed a bigger battery.

I went to lunch today during work (around 1 p.m.) and the car started fine. After work, around 4 p.m., I tried starting the car and it wouldn't start -- didn't seem to have enough electricity to do so.

So, I called RA and tow truck came in about 45 minutes. I didn't want to jump start the car because this was probably the 5th time that the battery goes dead/weak. I had to tow it to the dealership dead in order for them to see that it is dead and be willing to replace it.

After getting to the dealership, the service rep informed me that there are also the valve issue and update on the ECM.

Anyone with an 09 had these things done?

I guess I got this issue today, dead battery 2 day straight after jumping it, should I replace with a red top or just take it to the stealer?

Was anyone able to determine if having them reprogram the ECM acts as an update or a complete overwrite? My ECU was reprogrammed with Uprev and I really don't want to loose my tune.

I've had mine done and it is only an update. I've had mine done by Technosquare and I still have my tune.
