I had the same problem. I just changed the preset to a different channel and then back to the old one and it works fine now.

Some of the people on this forum, who had this issue, reported doing exactly that but it only fixed it temporarily. Eventually the issue resurfaced.

Thanks, bboy. I've noticed this problem with all my stations on Preset A.

This is probably just wishful thinking, but do ya guys think the replacement A/V control unit will give us all those original voice commands back?

I've had this problem as well. I just set it to a different station and then set it back and it fixed the problem. Haven't had any problems yet.

I had this problem last week but i was able to fix it... do you think dealer will still fix it? When ever I take it to the dealer... they would say "we couldnt find any problem so no action was taken..."

Some of us have installed a grounding kit. Should we remove it before taking the G in for the presets issue? Would hate for Infiniti to blame the problem on the wiring mod.

They would be idiots to blame this on a grounding kit especially when there is a TSB. It is not a power kit. Print out a TSB and throw that in their face if they give you trouble.

I asked because I heard of this story with BMW. This guy brought in his 335 because of a TSB on the fuel pump. BMW field engineer noticed the guy had a piggyback chip and voided the entire powertrain warranty. The owner cited the TSB and the engineer said it doesn't matter because the mod he made contributed to the earlier failure of the part. Obviously, these were different circumstances.
