Traded the G for an FX37
This week we traded the 08 G37S coupe in on a new '13 FX37. Decided, although the G was nimble, refined, quick and fit like a glove, we needed a larger vehicle. Wanted to stay brand-loyal.
Went in to Shumacker Infiniti, of the Palm Beaches, and had a great experience with Tim Silva. As I bought the G used from a non-infiniti dealer, we didn't know what to expect.
First off, the customer service was out of this world. In addition, Infiniti now has a 24/7, free, Infiniti personal assistant. All I can say is WOW. They will do/arrange/fix/order anything you can think of.
Secondly, I LOVE the FX. It rides awesome. It does NOT ride like an SUV. It is very responsive for the size. The power train is a nice upgrade, as they finally put the 3.7 in there, and it is just SMOOTH. Couldn't swing the 5.0, and liked the mileage (22+) on the V6. You don't feel any lack of power. The ammenities are as always top notch. The nav system is completely upgraded and very intuitive. Love the 360 Sonar system as well.
The only mods I plan on doing are upgrading some of the lights - like replacing the H8 Fogs with an H8 HID kit, and drop in K&N's.
Anyways, I hope this helps to anyone that is considering an FX. I am so so pleased.

Congrats on the new FX (a month old now )
How does the road noise and backseat comfort compare to the G? Did you get the 20"s package? I am thinking about the FX37 more and more these days.

So I did NOT get the 20's package, which also comes with the ?napa leather and the cooled seats. For the additional $$ I thought it not worth it.
I LOVE the car (oops...SUV...drives more like a car)...road noise less than the G - but that had +1 size rubber on Extreme contact DW's - -but I cannot say anything bad about this ride. Truly a relaxing event going to and from Stuart to West Palm Beach twice a day on 95...the 3.7 is perfect.
