Sweeeeeet! I've been prepping my FX for FI going on two years now. Just can't decide if I want to go with the supercharger or a turbo kit. Your experience with this kit would be great - please write it up! Interested in the engine management, how much control, adjustability and tuning it needs?

Good luck and I'm totally excited FOR you!

The fuel pressure regulator gets a nice looking aluminum spacer that is tapped to feed the 7th injector

Valve cover breather equalization tubing is rerouted to clear the compressor belt

And the new snazzy intake plenum base is installed

The bad boy sits waiting, ready for work

Definitely the coolest dealership in the cotDam planet!!

Our dealers here don't even know what a supercharger is!! They only know it's something that will void your warranty

Sorry for the mystery: The project car is a customers 2008 FX35AWD with the VQ35DE engine. The project involves a Stillen Stage 2 supercharger kit and Stillen stainless steel cat back system.

The supercharger is a roots type running 6 lbs boost. Stillen dyno test results show a 110 hp increase at rear wheels. (The 2008 FX35 was factory rated at 275 hp) The install is 50-state CARB legal.

This project has been a lot of fun- every part is brilliantly finished and fit has been perfect.

A nice picture of the massive heat exchanger directly beneath the rotary vanes that will cool the pressurized intake charge

fitting the beast, it's a tight but perfect fit

A picture of the 7th injector that will feed the beast when it's angry

I remember talking to the guy that owns the FX35 Brian's team is working on.

We were looking at the pictures of the Blacked-out FX Brian, took a look at the stillen catalog, and was like "I want it all!"

I can't wait to see the final product. I wonder if this is going to bring a dyno into the facility... heh heh.

hmmm I'm getting off work early... I might just pay a visit. =P

Nice work. Will it fit without custom hood? I know on the 35's you had to get the silly looking hood with any top mount SC.

just came back from looking at the FX. it looks like the Supercharger cleared pretty well without the need to modifying hood or even removing the hood liner. The height of the supercharger looked like it was just under the cowl top.

It's crazy tho because apparently there are engine differences between the 2007 FX35 and the 2008 FX35. This system install is definitely is not a bolt-on job. Upgrades to the original design were definitely implemented. Brian wasn't joking when he said the fit was going to be perfect.
