My 2012 EX

After totalling my 2011 G37S coupe (rear ended TWICE) - with lots of cosmetics mods, by back is still a mess. Precluding me from another low slung sports coupe.

And - as we just purchased a 2012 FX35, I chose a 2012 EX35.

Mods to date:

GTSpec Strut brace
Painted KH3 front grill
Illuminated Kick plates
LEDs all inside, out and fogs
Wrapped door handles
Wrapped door trim
15mm Ichiba spacer
20" FX50 wheels on 245/45-20 rubber
G37s Muffler (to be installed soon)

I dig that now I have a fun sporty crossover that i can drive hard and park easily in LA - and my Doberman is much happier, too.

Nice EX! Had I known they were about to start putting the 3.7 motor in the EX, I might have waited. The seats are definitely more comfortable than the sport seats in my G. The EX is our DD, my G is a weekend car.

AND - just installed my new G37S sport muffler. Direct bolt on.

Cost 300 for the muffler, and $30 to install.

And now it sounds like my old Coupe! and I swear it's a tad faster.

WooHoo!

I really like the sound of the EX, but it's not nearly as sweet as the G37S sounds, I'm sure you love it.

I was surprised how much difference the muffler alone made. I'll try and get a video posted.

Thanks InfiniteSmoke!

Today I just received my Hotchkiss front and rear sway bars and H&R sport springs, as well as my signal mirrors.

Mirrors installed tomorrow. Bars on Saturday.

Not sure about the drop yet...i'm running the FX 20 inch rims on 245/45 /20's....

Thanks man...that is what I strive for.

And here is the close to final version - body kit just installed.

Can you count all the mods?

Yes - I know there is not real "S" for the EX - but there should be and this is what it would look like.

List of mods in the 4 months I've had it - sone you can see, others you can't.

Body kit
20" FX50 wheels
Blacked out door trim
Painted front grill
tinted head and tails - heads have cutouts
Tinted windows
GTSpec front brace
Hotchkis front and rear sway bars
Full LED's inside
LED front fogs
Illuminated Kick Plates
Cross bars
Signal Mirrors painted black
Rear Aluminum protector
G37S Coupe exhaust
CAI
Aluminum Sport Pedals

Next up - BBK off G37S coupe and a second set of 20's, blacking out the chrome fogs surrounds and wrapping the roof, door handles and interior door trim in black aluminum.
