Ok I've said it before somwhere in this site. The script that displays the premium members cars on the general landing page randomly NEEDS TO BE REPLACED or FIXED!

1) Its not that random
2) It should have a conditional statement that if it encounters a members folder (like I just seen STOOFs) that does not have any pictures in it it does not display them as it does as blanks.

So before we go adding on new features, again lets fix the issues at hand first.

How about dropping Vbulletin all together and switching to IP.Board. It is 1000000x better and already has just about every feature that has been suggested in this thread.

Just like the other site is layed out.

^^ They probably wont do so since its not really that much better. And even if features are not built in vBulletin, it has lots of add on modules out there.

This site needs some work. Bu it has for a long time.

Similar to eBay in the way that you are able to see how many "watchers" you have while selling an item, I have always thought that, in the USER CP section, it might be nice if you could see how many people have subscribed to a thread you have created.

Just a thought...

How about a strict 'no whining' rule - don't continue to lambast us with how bad your G is. Get rid of it and go to another forum and complain there.

Neromancy is alive and well (pun intended)

How about a new post indicator with a marker to indicate one has already replied to the thread. This is about the only site I visit that doesn't implement this.

Click the New Posts button. All threads with new posts since your last visit are displayed. Look at the folder icon to the right of the thread title. If it has a dot in the center you've previously posted in the thread.

I don't use the New Posts method but I just tried it to see what you're talking about, and saw the dot. Then I looked at the forum using the tree and, what do you know, I saw the dots. Those things are pretty darned subtle; I've been looking here every day for over two years and never noticed the dot in the folder icon.

Thanks, BB.

How about a "New Post" option at the bottom of the thread page?

There's a "Previous Thread/Next Thread" option at the bottom of each page already. A "New Post" option would make it a little more convenient than having to scroll back up to the top of the page to click it. Just a thought...
