Those IPLs look nice on your Sedan, that would be cool if you could have the same color for your chrome trim

I was never too fond of the yellow/gold that preceded it, but am loving this shade of satin orange. No worries, and thanks for the comp.

I think i've decided to vinyl wrap my rear valence. More durable and lasts longer than the plastidip. Still not sure if i wanna go matte black or gloss black.

I went with a matte black vinyl wrap, thinking that gloss wasn't the right look for that area. Still very happy with that choice.

I have to say, though, the previous pic of the plastidipped effort looks real nice.

Yea i've seen your car with the matte and i like it but havent seen one with a gloss black to compare the two. I deff want the OEM look. But i feel that the sportier cars now a days have a gloss finish to it. Idk lol

You have... it's the plastic aftermarket diffusers. AFAIK, most of those are gloss black.

My personal thoughts on this go back to long before I even bought the G, and what subtle visual modifications would sit well with this car after I eventually bought one. IMO, the gloss plastic rear diffuser was calling too much attention to an area that you intend to create a depth of shadow with. Do you follow where I'm going with this? It wasn't the ridges that bugged me, it was the gloss black finish. (That, an the plastic diffuser doesn't align to the point of the bumper crease where I would expect or prefer.)

I realize that explanation seems somewhat esoteric and over-thought, but there it is anyway.

Was looking around and came across this thread. Here's my MW sedan.

Velgen VMB5 20x9 square setup. Lowered on Fortune Auto 500 coilovers. Originally a Journey but did the Sport bumper swap and added the spoiler. 50% tint on the windshield and 20% tint on the rest.
