Q50, an alternate tail light design...

Looking at the Q50, the only section that doesn't quite fit IMO with the rest of the car is the rear taillight. They just don't look aggressive like the front and I have no idea why the designers decided to make all those crooked lines on the inner boundary of the light.

Decided to do a fast photoshop to make it look like what I would've preferred it to look like.

Guess what? The photoshop version looks very similar to the Hyundai Sonata. Were the Infiniti designers afraid to create a similar design to avoid making it look like the Sonata? Maybe.

I just think Q50's rear lights could've been a little more aggressive like the fronts. Which design would you've preferred guys?

What Q50 actually looks like:

Black Betty, the only part I photoshopped is the top of the lights and how it meets the chrome piece in the middle. It somehow stands out IMO.

I see what you did. I just don't see how it changes the look at all. Just very slightly straighter line across the top. If it looks a lot different to you though that's cool. It would be super easy to incorporate, just a thin strip of body colored vinyl across the top or taping it off and painting the top of the tail lights to give them the line you like.

Yeah it definitely can be done by painting the top part. Just throwing out ideas here.

Let's hope the Q60 is more aggressive looking in the back. hehe

I think the tail lights somewhat mirror the headlights design wise. My interpretation is that they both look a bit like aggressive eyes of a bird of prey. Screamin' eagle eyes.

Looking at it more, you chop does look slightly more aggressive.

Right, I basically wanted to eliminated the extra extension of the light where it meets the chrome piece as well giving the top of the light a little more angle. And extended the chrome piece obviously.

Not much change but I think it's the little details that makes one car stand out from another.

I like the change and I agree that it makes it look more aggressive. Like the brow of an owl.

The change is more better. I agree they should have done it more aggressive in the rear. Especially if that's what there looking at when another car is getting smoked lol..
