How's the RWD in the northwest?

I'm debating between sports or x version...

I want the ability to drive in the random snow days but for those who have the sports g37, please tell me your experience?

I have a G37S coupe. I never take my car out in the snow but in my car club, PNW_INC, we have G coupes/sedans, 350zs, 370zs that have driven in the snow with their RWD cars. You just have to be a lot more careful with a RWD car in the snow. The RWD car is fine all year long despite that. I have driven on rainy or icy mornings just fine.

Winter tires + rwd + common sense = very capable car in the wintry months.

Keep in mind, the S versions come with summer only tires. Near freezing temperatures, these tires are like rolling bricks.

I drove my S in the snow last year on blizzaks. It all depends on your tires. I just switched tires to an all season tread (yoko yk580) from hankook v12 for better wet and light snow traction.

Awd is nice but will limit you if you want to go w/ staggered fit rims in the future.

I think your driving skills and common sense are more important than the car you drive in any condition. That being said, a RWD has obvious disadvantages in slippery conditions but certainly capable of handling it.

A few years ago I looked really silly in a bestbuy parking lot stuck in snow/ice , had my girlfriend at the time go out and push.
