UpRev tunes in the Tri-State

Currently I have the Stillen CAI and just ordered a FI CBE. When my exhaust arrives I want to purchase and tune my car with UpRev. I know their website has a list of dealers and tuners but was looking for some reviews and suggestions on shops in the area that I know have worked on our G's.

Thanks in advance.

Do you want a dyno tune or etune? (etune is where you purchase the reflash cable and get tunes sent to you and adjusted over email based on datalogs you record)

Any reason you want uprev and not ecutek? Vinny ten, Visconti tuning or real auto dynamics are shops on Long Island that'll tune the G.

Seymore, originally I was planning on a dyno tune and haven't really considered an etune. Since I'm only tuning as of now for an exhaust and cold air its probably smarter for just an etune. I will have to look into that and how much it costs.

Jumpman, I'm not sold on the uprev and seen ecutek posts while searching threads but just seemed uprev was more popular. I still have about 2 months until my exhaust arrives so will have to check out ecutek and try and read up on some more reviews of both. Thank you for the suggestions and if I end up doing the dynotune will check those places out. Is there any specific reason you would suggest ecutek instead?

Not a whole lot of options around here that have experience with our cars unfortunately.

I'd steer clear of real auto dynamics. They tuned a friend's z and the car stays in open loop fueling all the time. Cruise AFR is 13:1 and they told them that's normal . great job

After more research I think I'm going to end up going with EcuTek in July and most likely with Visconti Tuning.
