My new G37 Coupe
Hello All!
I picked up my new Pearl White 2013 G37 Coupe about a month ago.
And wow, I love it!
Originally I was out looking for Audi TTs, but found this gem and couldn't pass it up. G37's had been on my radar for years, and I've gone out and looked at a few cheaper (sub 15k), but was never impressed. The difference I believe was that this G37 was in great condition, White and had the slate interior, instead of black which I had usually gravitated toward. The white and slate make it look like a higher class, more luxury vehicle. I think this every time I am parked next to a black G37 (3 times now), mostly because the black shows everything.
All said, I got the car for $21,000 with 32,000 miles. Certified pre-owned. The dealer had replaced all drive belts, rear brakes, turned the front brakes, and installed new shocks all around.
Today I took it for a buff and polish. They did 3 passes with various grits. The car is sooo smooth and shiny now. Looks better than my wife's new car!
Well. Just wanted to pop in and say hi and share my story.
Next up is the stereo. Two JL RD900/5s, 4x JBL GTO804s, and a completely active 3 way setup using Dayton Audio RS225s, FaitalPro 3" Mids and Dayton Audio 3/4" Tweeters, is in my near future.

I don't know why it was done, only that it was done back in November of last year shortly after the dealership received the car off a lease.
For what it's worth, the sales person and finance guy were both really surprised....

I wasn't happy with the buff, so I went back and just happened to had been helped by the owner, which I didn't find out until after. He immediately saw the problem and told me to bring it back so he could redo the whole car.
2 complete buff and polish jobs for 150. I can't complain.
Mr. The Pope, I shall post some good ones as soon as I get the car back and there is sun.

I'm going back and looking at these pictures and pictures can't do it justice.
The paint is as smoooooth as glass now. It is amazing.
Speaking of parking next to black G37s, I am at school and parked next to another G37, a black G37. The way the parking lot lights are reflecting off my car compared to that one. wow.
