Howdy! Future G37 Owner Here!
Hey folks! Good to be here!
I joined this forum because I am more than likely (95% sure) I'm going to purchase a used G37. Not sure what model year yet, unless someone can recommend what years to avoid, if it's an issue but I drove a 2012 I believe this past weekend and absolutely was blown away by the power and handling of the AWD. I've never driven an AWD vehicle before and it's like night and day compared to other vehicles.
I will probably go with a white G37 S because I've been reading other comments regarding the sports package and how well people liked it.
Anyway, I'm sure I will gain a ton of insight by browsing the forum. If anyone has any suggestions on a used G37 feel free to provide any tips!

Yes, I prefer the coupe anyway so that's the direction I'm leaning towards.

Welcome to the forum I'm a newbie too! Good luck on buying the car! I'm a new g37s driver and I have to say the worst part of my experience was actually finding and buying the car. Now that I own the car I can say its one of the best cars ive ever driven.

I just wanted to say after browsing the forums everyone seems so nice and intelligent, unlike some forums out there where a large majority do nothing but fight and argue with each other.
It's refreshing to learn from a well-mannered community. When I see an Infiniti on the road I just want to be their friend.

You won't regret buying a G. I too am brand new having just bought a 2009 G37X sedan. The AWD is awesome up here in Maine, and the power just makes me smile every time I drive the thing.
Welcome to this awesome group - I lurked for a month before saying hello.

I'm in the exact same boat. Shopping for a used AWD sports coupe and looking at the BMW 428/335, the Audi A5 and the G37x (or 2014 Q60). After driving them all I'm definitely going with the Infinity - I was just so much more impressed with it over the competition, and the fact that it's a Datsun doesn't hurt.
My big question for the group is whether the sports package is really important to have on the 2013/2014 coupes? I've got plenty of inventory for both models in my area, although if I want the S package I'll likely end up with a 2013 G37xS as they are around the same price as the 2014 Q60 base models. Is it worth buying a year older car to get the Sport package if the milage is about the same?
This is my first day on the forum - thanks in advance!
