Question about horsepower

I recently purchased a 2009 G37. The car has a Stillen exhaust and a K&N Typhoon intake. How much horsepower does this add to the car?

In the 10-15hp range w/ some loss of low end torque, typically.
Welcome to the site BTW!

That seems like a lot of work and money spent to only add such a small amount of horsepower.

Thank you!

Wrong car for bolt-ons as the VQ 3.7 is pretty maxed out from factory. With that said im sure you will enjoy the vehicle non the less. Welcome to the forums.

its not like a turbo car ... flashed my Evo for almost 100 hp.

you'll spend $texas$ to do that on an NA motor.

an intake and exhaust look and sound cool, and filters are reuseable, so there's that. its up to you how much you want to spend on nice-looking noise makers.

i got a $250 Beluga axle back - sounds good, saves weight (stock muffler is HEAVY!), and is stainless. i couldnt justify blowing $400+ on an intake, though, especially with how easy it is to change the factory air filters.
