New Owner - Car stereo question
Hi All. Just joined the G37 club - 2012 G37x with 46K miles. I love it!
... I had a question about the stereo in my car.
It's the Non-Nav model, so I was under the impression that it didn't include the music box feature. However, when I put in a CD, it gives me the option to 'record' the CD..?? Is this just a software 'leftover'? To test this out, I selected the record option, and it just started to play the CD (normal speed) - with some red text indicating that it was recording. I haven't let the song play all the way through (other tasks to do today).
Just curious if anyone has a quick answer - I'm not afraid to experiment.
Thanks!
Gary

does yours have DVD? what i did, as another option to an iPod, was record a DVD-R with MP3's - you can quickly make a 4.7Gb "mixtape" using Roxio Creator software (or similar), and it will even add album art and your own background images. you will need to do the "hack that we cannot speak about", though.
