09 g37s coupe 6mt loving it

call me Vick! I reside in the great city of Washington DC. anyone local?!?!?!

Im so glad I found this site. Ive been lurking for the last few months since i got my G and figured it was time to sign up and join the ranks. I had an unfortunate event with my G just last week where i come outside to find it sitting on bricks. Guess I should have got those wheel locks sooner

ill post pics once I get it out of the shop with new rims tires and a "repaired" IPL front bumper that was there when I purchased.

I just found about about this iron man mod and I have fell in love. BIG shout to the guys at 180, you will be hearing from me soon.

I planned on this being my "date night" car with a slight growl and lots of looks from the ladies lol. I have a honda civic that I use as my race car but thats for another message board lol.

Test pipes and an exhaust are first. BUT I really wanna do the test pipes and leave the exhaust stock. I love the way the stock exhaust sounds which is one of the reasons i bought the car. but enough rambling, hope to meet, greet, cruise with you guys soon!

Hi Vick, welcome to the site. Might look into a muffler delete, you won't throw codes like you will w/ test pipes. There's quite a few threads on it.
Have fun!

You should be good w/ the HFCs regarding the CELs. And ditto on the wheel incident, there's a very hot place waiting for d-bags that pull that crap

I did the muffler delete, absolutely hate it... But different strokes for different folks. It sounds great on start up and idle, but the minute you get into higher rpms, it sounds..lame?

I looked at a few vids of the muffler delete. I was not impressed. wont call it lame...its just a cheap sound.

I was VERY surprised with the ebay exhaust sounds...don't think ill buy one of them BUT they look promising.

I really wanna know about the Osiris. tuning is the most cost effective way to get hp from a car in my opinion.

Damn bro that's a Shane about your wheels. I spent some time up in DC at the military hospital after a deployment. First US city that I saw somebody shoot at somebody in lol!! Still a great place...I met my wife up there. Defiantly a very lovable car tho am I right? Love my G no doubt about it. Welcome
