My new 2012 G37s Sedan 6MT

Hey there..
Wanna introduce myself. I'm Dev and I recently bought a used "but new to me" 2012 G37s Sedan 6MT that has only 13800 mi and it's in a great shape. I still haven't received the car yet but it's a matter of days till it gets here. I'm from Middle East btw "Saudi Arabia".

I have some pics of it from the dealer:

I'm planning on doing some mods which all gonna be Bolts-ons. For a start, I'm thinking of getting the Z1 intake Mani mod & the Motordyne ART pipes.
Would love to have some ideas from the experienced g37 owners from around the world to help me get on the right track modding it

Thanks

Welcome to the site & congrats on a very clean Sedan.
Look forward to pics of your progress. Might want to check the build thread section, Alfredo has a nice thread about what mods actually net some HP gains.

Thanks a lot blnewt..
I'll definitely post everything with pics of my progress. actually I'm looking forward to that.
I checked up Alfredo's thread and it's very informative though I'm still on the 2nd page. I'm gonna continue reading it all.
Thanks again for directing me to that thread..it's the best for my goal.

No problem, also if you consider doing any chrome delete or taillight mods, here's a couple easy DIYs that may be of interest~

Sweet..
I'll look into that if I planned this way. My main concern for now is HP/TQ gain with minimal noise possible.
I've read the whole Alfredo thread and it's great up to the point when he installed the M370 manifold. I guess I'm on the right track when I chose to go with the Z1 manifold.

I've done lots of researchers regarding most of the bolts-on and decided to go with this list:

1- Z1 manifold
2- Z1 headers
3- Motordyne ART test pipes
4- Motordyne ShockWave G37S exhaust for the G37 Sedan which is recently listed in their website.
5- Stillen Gen3 CAI (not recommended in my area cuz it's dusty most of the time). Drop-ins would be more efficient around here.

I know some of these parts are relatively pricy but I'll start one by one with the lower priced ones.

Once I'm done with all the breathing Bolts-ons, I'll upgrade the drivetrain starting with flywheel & clutch. Not sure about the pulley though.

If there is anyone experienced a same or similar set of these parts please post a feedback..Or if someone knows a thread, direct me to it. I searched but still no luck

Thanks

Thanks N4S. I'm glad to be a part of a great community such as this one.
I feel you man. I can't imagine myself driving other than manual tranny..I had three cars before this one..non of them was auto. I just love the extra control that the manual can provide for you.
Fact: I wouldn't buy my g37s if there is no manual option.

Respect to the auto owners

Not yet. The problem is that I still haven't received the car. It's holiday time and the car at the Customs Administration waiting for customs clearance.

I have these parts on my storage waiting to be installed once the car's arrived:

1- Two VMS Oil Catch Cans.
2- Grounding kit (which I assembled together). Thanks to AZg37 for making this thread: https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-your-own.html
3- Getting ART pipes in the next couple days.

More parts will follow once I see and drive the car.

stay tuned!

Thanks
