Which Sways would you recommend?

Just trying to gather information and opinions on what you track guys would recommend in regards to sway bars. I have a 2011 Journey coupe.

I have Hotchkis and like them just fine for the track. They also include new bushings and mounts with zerk fittings so you can grease them easily as aftermarket sway bar bushings tend to squeak after time, especially if you live in a cold climate like me.

You may not have that issue as much, but I had a set of Eibach sway bars on my last car and the squeaked like crazy. I finally had to switch to waterproof grease to get them to shut up.

Like probably most people here, I've only had the one set of sways. I have Hotchkis and I'm very happy with them for daily driving and for track days.

Hotchkis without a doubt, there's currently a used set in the classifieds for only $250 shipped. That's an excellent deal.

I'm going to go with Whiteline when the time comes. From what I hear, Subie owners like them and that was a good indicator as to their performance. You can't go wrong with Hotchkis though especially if they are going for that^

I went with Eibach in the 1 front 2 rear setting because I believe that the Hotchkis sways would increase understeer since the front is stiffer than the rear.

FRONT STOCK SWAYS are 26.5mm / 416 pounds per square inch
REAR STOCK SWAYS are 24.3mm / 374 pounds per square inch

Eibach FRONT Sways 32mm Hollow
1st = 730 lbs
2nd = 900 lbs

Eibach REAR Sways 29mm Hollow
1st = 627 lbs
2nd = 741 lbs
3rd = 860 lbs

Hotchkis Front Sway Bar 35mm Hollow
1st = 205% Stiffer (852 lbs)

Rear Sway Bar 27mm Hollow
1st = 40% Stiffer (523 lbs)
2nd = 75% Stiffer (654 lbs)
3rd = 120% Stiffer (822 lbs)

Do you mean pounds per inch?

Also, 200% is 3x, so that would put the Hotchkis at 1268.8 pounds per inch (assuming that the stock measurement is correct)

Are the Hotchkis sway bars really hollow? The tubing must be pretty thick if they are, since they weigh a ton. The front feels like it is made out of lead!?!

I have Eibach and I like them. I like how the front has adjust ability and have them on the rear and front but might take off the rear and put back the oem sway bars and leave the front with eibach.

Question,

When you replace sway bars do you have to replace the end links as well?

Godspeed sways. Work excellent and cheap as dirt. I have had mine for probably about 8 months
