New PB @ Irwindale 1/8 mile

Man this car continues to impress. I've been having a lot of issues with my GTO, but that's the price you pay having a boosted car. So I decided to drag race the g37 again. Keep in mind the car is a bone stock 2013 sedan, stock tires with the stock tire pressure. I'm in the left lane. That run was against an Acura TL.

That's a great time. What's the elevation of the track and what was the temperature?
I wish I could get a 60' like that with my manual. More practice I suppose.

2.0 60ft is great on stock tires. Good job, what model TL was this?

How you were able to pull a 1.88 is awesome, I think the only way I could do that is with drag radials.

The track is about 500 feet about sea level and high 60's that night, pretty much ideal conditions. Manuals are definitely harder, my gto is a manual and until I got dr's and then slicks the autos always had better 60 foots.

thank you, the tl was probably an 05 or 06 and looked to have an aftermarket exhaust.

I have the 7at journey I think I will be able to get my time a little bit lower if I can improve 60ft by dropping tire psi and learning light

Nice job, I would highly recommend setting that tire pressure way down from 40. When my GTO was at stock power I ran the 245/45/17's at 18 PSI. What size 555r's were you running?

Thanks.. I have same size Dr 245 45 r17 nitto 555r.. I've also added spyder cold air intakes from Amazon for 220 and a uprev tune yesterday with resonator delete.. I've picked up 27 whp with just those mods on dynojet hopefully better results this weekend.

It'd be great if you could write a review on the spyder cold air intakes. I've been eyeing them for a while now because of the appealing price but I'm cautious because I haven't found a single review on them...

Man I'll tell ya it's worth it I made a review on the red ones on Amazon showing my time slips from before and after adding intakes with pics also.. Gained a half Sec. at track. Now with the tune I'm running with coyote and supercharged mustang. Sound is also great you can hear a whistling sound like a supercharger when driving regular but when you floor it sounds like a strong v8 lol. But Wat I like most at idle it sounds quite as a mouse very good sleeper. Installation wasn't to bad but takes time to remove front bumper video on YouTube thou. Its worth it and if your wanting more power delete resonators and get nano performance chip plug in play for 100 on eBay. Cheap upgrades but crazy power true power I've dyno my car and have proof. But I wanted even more power lol now I have installed Nos with tune on 110 octane smh
