Reset ECU how aggressive should I drive before track event on Sunday.
I just reset ECU this morning to prep for Track on Sunday. How aggressive should I drive to keep my shift points aggressive? I don't want the tranny to calm down at all for when I'm running. I suppose I could just shift manually but I read letting the computer shift yields better times.

Ah is that all you drive tho, just from home to work ;/. If so then your about right, But go WOT all you can, And manual shift the car, I'm guessing you auto. I never drive in D, Manual and paddles every day, Just better control of the car IMO

Typically you don't want to drive aggressively. Many adaptive ECU's don't like to look (learn) at WOT / flat out driving but rather make incremental improvements during regular driving.
My G-sensor went out taking out my VDC ironically on a cool down lap at autoclub 2 weekends ago. I reset my ECU and basically ran a few laps and ended in high det map / boost cut because the ECU was still learning. Probably caused some permanent damage LOL. Took about 10 miles freeway cruise before the ECU was happy again. Not a G37 ECU but still a late model Nissan ECU I figure the adaptive ignition/fueling is similar... If all else fails bring 100 octane

Don't confuse an ECU reset for an ECU Retune guys. The ECU only learns driving habits, shift points, torque demand etc..
