I didn't know that was possible. I am running Ecutek as well with a Nitrous Outlet WiMax controller. Works fine, but having less things that could go wrong is always nice . Good luck getting into the 10s! I am thinking about getting an SC now... Sure my wife would love that....

Somehow I'd missed this thread.
I never brought my car to the track when it was stock. OEM stock and 600whp require different things. However, having watched a gazillion passes and knowing what I know now, I'm FIRMLY in the camp that the auto transmission is far more suited to the track than the inconsistent 6MT.
Dragtimes.com verifies this. 13.09 @ 106 with a 7AT sedan.
In my case we used the 'lowly' 5AT, but I'm now understanding that's part of the formula for fast with a load-liking boost-building turbo engine.
I'll never expect a better time from a manual. I'm driving a manual Mini Cooper Clubman, and LOVE it now for the business of the task, but if I wanted the quickest car, I'd stomp with an auto. It's also a bit boring. We understand that.
Here's a vid of the quickest G37 in the world, as I write. It's faster than the lighter 370Z with the same powerplant. With a 2.5" exhaust. Some known 'deficits' yet it still performed.
Infiniti G37 11.13" Record
The car is no longer built. This record is up for the taking.
I've always been a fan of the drag strip. It's the bad boy of auto racing.

Going to be awhile before anyone can hit the drag strip... But I would like to see that as well! Working on hitting 11s this year myself without a SC, TT or internal upgrades

My 09 G37x sedan has now passed the 180k mile mark. Best time was a 13.5 before the CAI and tune. Best after is a 13.6 @ 104.5 MPH. Mods are Stillen CAI, OBX test pipes and ECUTEK remote tune. I would like to dip into the low 13s @ 105+ in better conditions.
