I run with VDC off. Only advice practice especially on the road/track you run on.

DS mode short shifts to me which why I said shift between 7300-7500 since your not tuned to speed up your shifts.

Mods as of now
Ported upper and lower manifolds
GTR injectors
JWT Cams
ATI crank pulley
PPE longtube headers
EPS throttle bodies
3in intakes
Aluminum driveshaft
Z1 motor mounts
FI CF exhaust

Have not ran this setup yet too cold out.

Mods for the 12.7 runs.

Z1 upper manifold
NST pulleys
AAM intakes
EPS throttle bodies
eBay resonated test pipes (beluga)
eBay exhaust (beluga)
3.7 final drive
Ecutek tune by Seb at specialtyz
Im from nc gates. That bmw 335 came down a few weeks ago to race the same guys im talking about. They beat him with a honda civic hatch with gsr motor supercharged. You should come there is alot of built honda running pretty hard. Im trying to work on a couple of them honda's myself before mods lol. Im thinking i should have no problem beating the b20 in DS mode if i can beat him with 22s on my car but i dont have room for error i see that now so i kinda felt alittle hesitant about using manual mode. But like u said it does shift early an a honda with stick will redline rpms which still leaves me unsure lol

Yeah that hatch barely beat him saw the vid. Just practice and find your car sweet spot.

Also since your not tuned our cars have adaptive learning. So before you race launch the car a couple of times before getting there. Gets the car used to you driving aggressively.

PM me where they run. I know they have been talking about going back or they come to them.

Heard last time they went the boys out there couldn't match the pot.

ok, the bmw 335 what was his 1/4 mile time do you know? Did he give him any car lengths? The guys with the supercharged civic have money but they must thought they couldnt win probably why they backed out the pot. Good to see somebody give them a challenge thou but they seem to never loose. Once I have mods an tune with nos I will definitely try them lol.

Few years ago i ran him with my 91 nissan maxima with his last motor he barely beat me. I have shaved head, full exhuast with header hfc, pulleys, chip, intake, stage 2 clutch etc no tune with 150 dry shot of nos. Heavy car but back then it was hard to beat. He's much stronger now though you should have no problem running him with your g37 coupe.

I don't know if either of them has ran the 1/4 mile it's 2 of them from the same area.

I will come out sometime in Jan. I know someone selling a N2O kit with all the bells and whistles for 1k. Was on a 37 sedan.

I think he gave the Honda one car. I think the 335 wanted a rematch and they couldn't match think it was like 3k or something like that.

First time ever ruining at the track. 2011 Infiniti G37 sedan base model with Stillen Gen 3 CAI, ART Pipes, Top Speed y Back Exhaust ran 13.998 at 101.10 first run ever. I was surprised thought I was going to run 14's for the first time. Every other was 14's.i was spinning a lot tho the other times. First run with 13.998 was with vdc off, DS Mode Auto and launch from idle

Not bad for the first time. What was the all important 60 foot time? Temperature and track elevation play a big role with your times too.

Try practicing your launch technique. If you can get your 60' time down into the 1.9 second range then you should be able to knock nearly a 1/2 second off your 1/4 mile time.

I am planing to run my Q40 Awd (7AT) this spring with Ecutek tuned by Visconti (road tuned)
My only mods are lighther 17" rims and tires. (Rim is 18Ibs each), AFe Pro Dry S air filter only. Everything else is stock.

My only plan is to get a full cat/back exhaust and resonated HFC. What gain will I get from just all these mods?

I raced an unknown (mods) Accord sedan V6 (2015+?) he was 3/4 car ahead on my 3rd gear higher RPM and I pulled a car length on 4th @ 109 MPH and cut it after.
These new Accords are pretty quick in the midrange.

This guy in the video is runinng 13.2 @106 (his best run-not this video) just by Ktune and pre cat delete and a cold air intake mod only. It's about power to weigh ratio advantage for them. It seems the G' s are a lot more expensive to make it fast. I might look into a used Accord Sedan V6 and make it a sleeper. Watch this guy in youtube with his V6 sedan Accord destroying some G's and others....

My Q40awd sedan 7AT weighs 3,832 IBS vs Accord V6 sedan
3,554 IBS (I heard they are making 290-300 WHP -with basic mods and tune).

Watch out guys. Do not underestimate the new Accords...

Another 0ne against an SS Camaro.
