Why does it even matter? Who the hell sees both front and rear lights at the same time?
Oncoming traffic will only see front signals. Rear drivers will only see your rear signals. Why does it matter that they blink alternately? Makes no difference.

The module was designed this way so the brake lights take precedent over the turn signal
This way, there is no delay if the brakes and turn signal are applied at the same time

For $15 total you can get it to work for your sedan. I have a 2011 Sedan and that's what I used.
The other kit is the exact same thing but costs $40 + $5 shipping = $45 shipped.
You save $30. Same results.
The $40 kit is exclusively for coupes because it is a plug-n-play application and uses the G37 COUPE specific connectors.
