Questions about cupholders and cell phone holders

Question #1:

The front cup holders on the 2009 G37 Sedan are horrible, it does not fit the wide cups without them interfering with each other.
What solutions have you guys come up with for holding multiple cups in the front area?

Question #2;
I am looking for a cell phone holder that allows me to look at the phone for the updated GPS maps (google, waze, mapquest etc)
I want something that does not interfere with the radio controls so what have you guys used ?

I'm thinking of this bracket http://static.summitracing.com/globa...130-509_ml.jpg

or the Kuda http://www.kudausa.com/images/products/1957.jpg
This one is pretty pricey for not including the actual holder (~$60)

What other solutions have you guys come up with for the 2 above annoyances? (Yes, it's like a first world problem, I know)

Here's my solution.

Arkon MG189 or MG279 (updated model) . The mount location to the side of the console stack is a poor location. It's too far away and too far down.

EDIT: PS, on the topic of cup holders, the MT doesn't even have a usable cup holder other than the small bottle holder in the door. Cup holders are for sissies

I don't really know what to do about the cupholders, other than not carry too many drinks in the car.

But this is the phone holder I got. I really like it.

Buy a Domestic car if cupholders are on your wish list.

Yea these cup holders are horrible. It doesn't fit shaker bottles. So i end up placing it between the door and seat, though one day i forgot and opened the door, worst mistake ever, bottle fell and opened spelling protein shake all over, took a few hours to clean it -.-.

As for phone mounts, i do the same as jsolo, though sometimes i place it under the rear mirror for dashcam recording. Also there are laws where you can't mount to the wind shield though most aren't enforced.

That was my first smart phone, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

You'll now have to edit your post, as it doesn't make much sense now that I've edited mine. Afterwards, I can then edit this post to restore balance.
