My Exhaust Combo - RHFC/ED/TopSpeed

So I've been thinking about my setup for the past 3 weeks....debating if I should post. Finally I thought I should say something.

I've got a 2008 G37S Coupe
About 6-7 months ago, I got ahold of a Exhaust Depot Y-Pipe because of the reviews/dyno that showed lower to mid torq increase. On a stock exhaust, there wasn't much different. Better sound, a bit better performance....not what I was expecting.

Then came the (wife approved) FI RHFCs. WOW! That made my tail end happy. Great mod for the PITA install! I got a serious kick in the pants with this install.

For the Catback, I decided to go with TopSpeed Pro-1 Y-Pipe back exhaust because of the good deal they gave me and the reviews from owners. Resonated Single 2.75" all the way to the mufflers, which then split off for a stock like look. WOW!...again!

Infiniti G37 Coupe 2008-2013 Top Speed Pro-1 Race Spec Performance Catback Exhaust System - Top Speed Auto Accessories, Inc.

So...the reason for my review, I'm not sure if anyone went my route. 2.5" till after the y-pipe...then 2.75 back to the split (unsure after that) My car MOVES! I have no previous dyno to compare to....and hesitate to get one (I live in Italy....everything's 3X normal price). I currently have a really nice tone and a QUICK car. I'm afraid to get a tune, because of how torqy my car is....but it could make it even better. So does anyone out there have something similar?

*Note* I was hesitant with getting a more open exhaust on my setup (true dual), just so I can get more hp in the upper range

Nice review, sounds like you put together a set that works well together. FWIW I've been very happy w/ my TopSpeed Y-back for my Sedan, been 3.5 years and still looks great and sounds even better
Really a great bang for your buck product.

Right?! TopSpeed is better than most people think. I was REALLY hesitant to use because they're not the 2k FI/Amuse/Motordyne exhaust that everyone purrs about. Overall I'm happy with my less expensive exhaust. Also....I'm not in a hurry, but when I do find a dyno, I'll run it just to get some numbers. I'm still short a tune so I can before and after that.

I have been looking at TopSpeed exhaust for my 08 G35 sedan for a while, wondering where's the best place to buy the exhaust? Can you still get the 4.5" exhaust tips still? blnewt, I love the way the TopSpeed looks on your sedan with the blacked out muffler and the 4.5" tip!

Your setup is almost exactly the same as mine except I have the Beluga Racing cat back. I just added RHFC'S when I did my diff install. The sound after RHFC'S with the exception of being slightly louder at all phases. The only negative ( if you can call it that) is that now I have that hiss. Still tuning with Uprev but I can't say what the RHFC'S added due to the awesome effect of going 3.69.

Hmmm....I thought the Beluga was pretty much the same. So I went from 2.5 to 2.75 with no hiss. I knew if it was 2.5 to 3" there might be a hiss. For all I know, I'll get a hiss with the UPREV. Either way.....I'm glad to upgraded to the 3.69. I had a 350z (Auto) and was dying to have the 3.69. It's where it's at.

The Beluga has the extra Helmholtz chamber. Very nice sound , no rasp. But hiss. Thinking of swapping the 2.75 resonator out with a Borla XR-1.
