There's many threads on this, very nice cold-air setup, and you won't throw codes as long as it's installed correctly.

Youre talking about the long tubes right?

If you are I love mine no CEL light also it doesn't hurt to go with the shield too. Install is simple as it doesn't require you to modify anything

After installing my Takeda I had a CEL. Shortly after the engine blew. I had the engine rebuilt with forged internals so it could hold the power of my Takeda CAI and now everything is perfect.

Good to know, perhaps we should also upgrade our transmissions to hold the mighty power of the Takeda CAI

It was a heavy dose of saracsm, lol.

I have the Takeda LTCAI. No issues. No CEL. CAI's in general do not cause engine lights. Maybe if you install it wrong, but not if it's properly installed. This is a really basic bolt on and isn't anything to worry about.

The bumper has to come off, but if you have a decent set of tools, it's a DIY project. I didn't and wouldn't pay anyone to install it for me. I would imagine a shop would charge a couple hours of labor at whatever their going rate is.

Not true the bumper doesn't have to come off, that's the Stillen intake only cause you have to trim the rad support. The Takeda you can leave the bumper on. I did only removed the front grill and top sheild
