Hey BB, can you compare sound and performance vs. Invidia? I was planning on getting the Invidia for my sedan, but I might just hold off if MD plans to make a version of this for the sedan.

I had the first version of the Invidia system for the coupe (Q300) for a long time. I didn't have any problems with it, it was good for the price. However IMO in terms of looks, sound, price, and my initial very brief evaluation of performance, the MD takes it hands down. It is much louder and lower in tone than the Q300. Neither has any drone at all. The Invidia had a little deceleration hiss and a hint of raspiness when paired with HFC. MD E370 has no drone, is relative quiet under mild throttle or steady cruising at any speed, but screams like a banshee under heavy or full throttle all the way to redline. The sound is glorious. It is not subtle like the Invidia. They are both built with very good quality throughout. I like the MD V band clamping system rather than the traditional gasket system on the Invidia, no gaskets and no leaks. I have not had a chance yet to dyno the MD yet, however the butt dyno says wow.

I don't know if or when Tony is designing a system for sedan fitment but if you are interested I would certainly contact him to let him know. it might take a while unless he's already been working on it. If money is no object then MD E370 without question. But Invidia is about half the price (of full list price of the MD E370 coupe system) so you'll have to make that decision of if it's worth that much more money. It definitely is to me.

Lol, sorry man. I would post a vid but seriously videos of exhaust are just no good unless they are done right. I will let someone else post a video that is done right. This is a brand new exhaust and I dont want to be posting a shiddy vid clip that makes the exhaust distorted or sound different. I know your going to love it though, and your probably dying waiting.

Damn you people are impatient. I just got finished installing it yesterday and I'm at work today. I go there every day during the week. All day most of the time. I will try to get a dyno done this weekend and may have time to do it then. It still needs final adjusting as well. As soon as I post a video with the tips not even or one side hanging low, here will come the complaints or criticisms. There are a several videos already posted. It 'll sound exactly the same as every other video of the exhaust on a VQVHR engine. Just like the 370Z ones and the couple of G37 ones already out there sound.

For those who have ordered it already and are just waiting for it to arrive, all I can say is really??? If you have already ordered it, what possible benefit will a video or sound clip provide when you will have it on your car in a few days? You've already spent the money! You'll be able to hear your own soon. You will be happy.

Just keep your drawers on people, there will be folks who can take videos and post them soon.

Looking good, man. How does the exhaust note compare to that of the HKS? Do you have a strong preference one way or the other?
