I have an Injen SRI and its due for a clean, what is the best way to clean these filters? Remove the filters from the housing and vacuum? or is there another more effective way to clean these? Thanks.

vaccum works

or get some oxy clean and wash the filter with that, then let dry. Oxy clean works like a charm.

Anybody know where we can get the replacement filters? or filters that will fit with the Injen SRI set up?

R2C intakes company make replacement dry flow filters for other intakes.

hit up a vendor who sells R2C intakes and they can guide to getting you a really good dry flow replacment dry flow filter replacment.

Injen intake filters are usally K&N filters, unless you have dry flow one. a pop charger filter replacement filter can work on your pipe.

My Injen CAI also came with Amsoil EA dry flow filters.

Cleaning instructions from Amsoil:

Ea Air Filters should be cleaned every year or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first. Carefully remove the filter from the housing. Clean the housing with a shop towel, being careful not to knock contaminants into the air inlet. Filters can be cleaned by carefully vacuuming the filter media on the dirty side, or by holding the filter with one hand and carefully blowing the filter media at a 45-degree angle on the clean side using low-pressure shop air (15-20 lbs. psi).

I just removed my Injen SRI's... back to stock for now.

I dont think Amsoil's suggestion would bring back that bright blue color anymore. Anybody else have other suggestions?? The Oxyclean idea may work but I want to be sure.

*** Update ***

I just came across this.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Injen...Q5fAccessories

I like the red. Matches well with my theme. Now I just need to look for the right size. Sucks they're about $70 each!
