Help Hood strut issues

Hood strut issues
Just ordered two expensive, from reputable company, hood strut replacements cause mine have started to fail.

New ones would not hold up the hood, verified correct part numbers and correct vehicle.

Anyone else have this issue and/or recommend correct place to order "better" ones?

What new ones wouldn't hold your hood up? I replaced mine with StrongArm ones from Advance Auto Parts.

That's what I got strong arm. Would not hold it up. Can you get me your part number to see if what they sent was wrong or just defective?
