G37 Sedan muffler delete...Top speed

This may be old news but it's the first I have seen it. On eBay top speed is selling an axleback muffler delete now for the sedan family. Looks pretty nice actually. Priced at 299 OBO. Just an FYI.

Interesting. How much do muffler shops usually charge to fabricate the same thing?

Imagine these have a much finer fit & finish, just not sure if the premium would be worth it. Would also be neat if there were options for the tips.

Round tips in the oval bumper cutout is no bueno for me...

I feel they should have added resonators like the coupe muffler delete but if you can get this out the door for 250 or less I think it's a much better option than a muffler shop with ugly crush bent piping

Might throw em an offer to see if they'd bite.

These would be a simple driveway install, right?

^ Yea this would be like a 5 minute install. $300 is so overpriced though.

I offered $100 and it auto-declined lol.

Here's an even more overpriced one

I know, but still. $600 is overpriced.

You could actually just get the whole thing cheaper

Unless you live in a place with winter and salt. Then your exhaust pipes will all be rusted together and you'll need to take it to a shop unless you can torch it in your driveway. Also everything is also rusted. I find it best to pretend it doesn't exist.

Mine came off surprisingly easy. I used my impact though on the bolts and sprayed the crap out of the pipe with PB blaster.

I was going to do a muffler delete at one point, getting the bolt off (snapping the head off because it's also rusted) was easy enough, clamp comes free no problem but the two sections of pipe are thoroughly rusted together. I even sprayed it a few times over a few days beforehand.
