Help me choose my future exhaust please.

Clips on youtube don't do them justice it's simply the truth. Which is why I'm here.

Top 3 recommendations on an exhaust that will fit my 2011 G Sedan

Loudest most aggressive that doesn't sound terrible?

Read the sticky for the sedan exhaust thread.

And figure out what you mean by "exhaust", with respect to the headers, catalytic converters, and cat-back components. Also, there are considerations between the RWD and AWD Sedan, so whatever car you have... keep that in mind. In other words, your question is way too vague. Sorry, just is.

Loudest most aggressive would be the Ark Grip or the Motordyne Shockwave.

Gotcha sorry to be so vague just trying to get some up to date answers and opinions due to the vast amount of different exhausts that have been released up until now.

RWD and catback to be a little bit more precise and I will continue to read the sticky.

You are going to get subjective answers from people. My two favorite are Meisterschaft & MotorDyne. These two have distinct exhaust notes from other competitors. However, they are the most expensive at $2,000 +

Stillen, Invidia, Fast Intentions, ARK all have very similar exhaust notes. They just differ in their respective volume.

I have my G paired with stillen gen3 cai and stillen catback, enhanced vq growl at start and when you push the throttle, steady vq "pur.. if you will" as you drive, its not a constant loud unless you want it to be, stillen (from what I heard) likes to give you a good product but one that doesn't move too far from the stock sound. Its perfect if you want a nice loud sound when you push the throttle but quieter compared to MotorDyne for instance.

I have the same setup on my sedan also. I personally think the tone is amazing and the car really opens up with more throttle. However, the exhaust is kinda quiet imo. I would've expected the loudness level (for lack of a better word) to come stock on the car. Sounds almost stock at idle and a bit louder than stock on throttle but you get a more VQ growl.

You would expect the performance model of a "luxury" brand would have had an optional sport exhaust.

You would also expect the top-of-the-line model 6MT to get the down-shifting rev-match tech, since it was already in the 370Z.

For that matter, how this car doesn't have a heated steering wheel is a complete mystery.

Yes, that too. Let's add that to the list of next-car requirements.

I've never driven a car with rev match, it's quite possible that it is so seamlessly integrated that I wouldn't mind.

As I approach 5 years with the G and ponder my next car, several things are on the radar that wouldn't have been in the past, including BMW. Options for us MT guys are dwindling
