New Rotor Recommendations
While my car is in the shop with a $4500 repair job (don't ask), and since the rotors are warped, I figured I'd shop around for some rotors to cheer me up. I've been doing alittle research and I think slotted rotors are my best fit to suit my daily driving needs. Anyone have any experience with a particular brand/style of rotor they recommend? Suggestions welcome.
Heres what I've been looking at:

I went with the Z1 Motorsports slotted one-piece rotors for my Akebono upgrade. The rotor hats are already coated black, so you won't have to worry about any unsightly rust. I don't think you can go wrong with them. (Most rotors are the same anyways, unless you go the eBay route. But whether it's StopTech, Z1, CZP, or even Centric rotors) you should be fine.
I believe the 10lbs weight saving is only for the front rotors. The rears are 6lbs I believe, but who cares. Nice reduction in rotational mass either way.

Adding this to help someone who's looking for cheaper options.
I bought these http://www.ebay.com/itm/302103495546?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT like two weeks ago.
Price is higher now, I purchased them for 160+15$ shipping, heck of a deal because rock auto and carId had it for 230-245$.
Came in a stoptech box
so far they are excellent, good stopping power, great bite + they look good to me
they are not fancy looking like slotted rotors but they have good black accents.

If you just daily drive your car there is no need for slotted or 2pc. rotors unless you just like the way they look. Because of safety standards you can pretty much buy any decent replacement rotor and be just fine for daily driving.
If you are considering tracking the car, then you may want to consider Stillen or Z1 rotors.

Was actually looking to order new brake pads, and i have ordered from KNS before and they sure are stand up fellas! I think i purchased from Ken before. What would you say is the difference between the 3 different HAWK pads? I want to purchase the 5.0 pads , but it shows that they only have them for the rear. Would it be fine to buy a different HAWK pad for the fronts?

However, you do both. So if you were to put on your Daily Driver hat... don't you think losing 10 lbs of un-sprung, rotational mass at the front corners, and 6 lbs each in the rear, is something you would notice?
