Tanabe Q50 FTSB is an exact fit for our sedans

Just for those who are unaware, the Q50 Tanabe FTSB is an exact fit for the G37 sedan - at least it is for my 2013 RWD sport sedan. Thought I'd share a pic of what it looks like installed. It's a good option for those who want something a little different from the usual GTSpec and Cusco braces, not to mention it is much more affordable and is made in Japan. I got it less than $120 shipped from Race Consulting Agency.

I read about it somewhere else but thought I'd share another picture of it installed.

Looks nice. Did you notice any improvements in handling or mainly a cosmetic thing?

I would say it is mostly cosmetic.

I used to own a 2005 BMW 330Ci ZHP and had a Cusco FTSB on that car (which was wider than this Tanabe) and it didn't make a huge difference to the handling either, so I wouldn't attribute the lack of handling improvement to the quality of the bar itself, but to FTSBs as a whole. I think FTSBs can definitely contribute to the overall handling of the car but will not transform the car on its own.

A little bit of a bumpy ride joining this forum. At least I haven't been told to use the search bar yet. LOL.

Welcome to the site, mine's still holding up well, and still amazes me that Tanabe is missing out on 80% or more of their market for this item. I contacted them, gave them the link, etc, but I guess they must be swimming in cash and didn't need more profit

I've been eyeing that bar up. However, I cannot find a Canadian distributor.
