I had it dipped and it just doesn't last. Plus I was always having to be careful around the window trim which is not something I really liked. It looked good from a distance but not as much up close. I'm gonna vinyl wrap it soon enough.

Yup, definitely go with the gloss black vinyl wrap. But make sure you use quality wrap, like 3m, I used cheap China wrap on some things and it's a colossal waste of money. Quality wrap done correctly will last years

It's not a tough DIY and only costs about $25, here's the link~ https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-g-sedans.html
thanks for the diy, i might have to try this.

Yup, it's not too difficult, I just did my roof in gloss black. There are plenty of youtube how to videos and the diy on here is great. If you never did anything with vinyl, get yourself more than you need and practice a little. Once you actually get a feel of it, it's very doable

another +1 for wrapping the trim black. Go with gloss as it will closely match the black on the pillars. I did mine using blnewt's DIY and it looks great, is inexpensive, and pretty easy. Its amazing what a difference it makes...

BINGO! That's the good stuff, and a 1x5' sheet is the amount needed.

I played around with a cheap app on my iPad to see if I like it with the trim blacked out.

I like it and now this will be my next mod. One mod leads to another.
