This sounds like a great feature. Too bad the AWD does not come with a stick or big brakes like the RWD.

There's also the steering rack. Drive a RWD Sport and an AWD Sedan back to back, and the difference in the steering is pretty dramatic. At least, that was my reaction last time I had an AWD Sedan as a loaner... and that was some years ago.

People always forget the sport-tuned Steering.

That's right. Good point. That is the first thing I noticed about the G37S compared to my last few AWD cars- the steering is a lot sharper.

Very true I always forget about that, I don't think the earlier V36 sedans had an optional rack as I am almost certain its different than the newer G37 sports, when I tested a 13 G37S, it turned so much easier and better.

When buying, my test drive of a X sedan lasted all of about 5 minutes. We barely got more than 2 blocks away before turning back. It had this floaty feeling, lack of feedback. They didn't have an S sedan (no one does around here), but did have a used S coupe (not Xs, but just S). Huge difference. I knew the sedan would be a little softer with the 18" wheels and taller sidewall tires. Going on 5 years now, it's lived up to my expectations.

The good news is. The G37 has really nice wood. The depth and finish of the wood option is really nice
