There seems to be mix information. Some people state that the only two swaybars are either awd and rwd. However, there seems to be awd, rwd, and rwd sport swaybars.

I am purchasing the following Sport RWD swaybars and accessories from an Infiniti dealership with an Amazon giftcard:

With putting the sport specific coupe swaybar instead of the regular rwd swaybar, hopefully it does not make my car too rear-end happy during snowy conditions and make it more willing to fishtail.

I'm using the RSB from a 370z and based on what I found on this forum it's the same thickness. I've never had any issues during extreme icy/snowy conditions. I would save your amazon g/c for something else if you can. These RSB can be found pretty cheap through classifieds.

IPL and NISMO rear stabilizer bars are the same at a reported 26 mm thick. I measured my RWD sedan S at 25mm. I have to wonder if they're actually all the same and measurement methods cause the variance.

I just ordered the hotchkis front and rear stabilizer bars. they make a kit for the sport as well as the awd models.

Yeah, my rear Journey Sedan sway is exactly the same OD as the rear S Sedan sway. I swapped them out and no difference that I could feel.

Just from personal experience, I went with the rear sway bar from Eibach. I like the fact that it is adjustable which gives me the option to switch up the stiffness during winter/summer months. For the winter, I have the RSB set to the softest setting. No fishtailing or sliding around when I drove in the winter as well as in rainy conditions. The car was planted and I got rid of the unwanted understeer. At the beginning of this summer, I switched to the middle setting of the three available. Great response and no body roll, however I will be changing back to the softest setting when fall hits.

The Eibach RSB measures at 29mm. I also use Prothane Super Grease for the bushings and no squeaks.

One of the best investments I made on my G37X sedan.

So only the x got the thinner sway bar (~17mm)? Been trying to figure out exactly what to look for in terms of a sway - so I can get the rear sway off any non x? Definitely not trying to drop the $300 on the Hotchkiss' so I was looking at finding a sport sway or getting the Godspeeds.

X front bar is the thickest of OE bars while the rear is the thinnest. Infiniti wants to make sure you slide off the road front first. People buy AWD for safety.

Thicker is stiffer. Stiffer front increases understeer, stiffer rear increases oversteer. Same for springs.

You could buy a Journey or Sport front bar to get the dynamic change you want but total roll stiffness is lower.

I don't live in the Snow Belt nor do I drive an X but what I read about this particular mod is what you note.

The car is already capable of oversteer in deep snow or untreated roads (i.e. snow/ice covered roads) with an application of power. The stability program should already do a good job of catching you before it gets bad.

I just received the new OEM Sport rwd Coupe Rear Sway Bar and I have a question.

On the new rear sway bar it has a strip of blue paint on the bar. What does the blue strip of paint mean? Also it has a number of F516 painted on one side of the bar, what does the F516 mean?

The blue paint is probably some mark used to indictate it's unused and the F516 is probably some internal part number.

Let us know how the install and drive goes! Also, mind letting us know what you paid for the parts?

My dealer quoted $303.13, which I immediately ran away from lol

I bought a used 370z rear swar for 42 bucks shipped on ebay with all bushings and end links. Shop charged 35 to install that and the GT Spec braces in the rear.
