2011 G37X manual shifter mode
Is there a way to switch wiring so that the upshift is pulling towards you and the down shift is pushing away from you. Exact opposite of the factory set up, which is insane?

When you are being pushed back in your seat under acceleration, pushing the stick forward makes no sense. Check out Porsche, BMW and others. Theres are correct, pull back to up shift and push forward to downshift. I would install paddles buy I don't want to tear into it that much. Thought a simple connector switch would be a simple fix. Thanks

I prefer nissan's up - upshift and down - downshift versus BMW which is the opposite. It feels cooler to pull it back or down when you downshift and then slap it into a higher gear by pushing up when you get to that point. I never liked BMW's up/down. It's all about what you're use to though.
Even in a manual car, the majority of the time I would downshift, I was pulling the shifter back or down unless it was 3rd gear. Then I drove a BMW and it was weird haha, probably the same thing you're experiencing now, just the opposite. Good luck with your shift change. The + and - won't line up, but who cares, it's just cosmetics and you're the owner/driver =]

Yes, but check to see if you are pre-wired. Here is just one source. You may find it cheaper when you know what you need to order.
