Help - Radiator fan always on

As above I will start the car when cold the radiator fan runs, it will shut off from time to time but comes back on.

Anyone else have this issue?

I am not sure what to look at. I have read to check for low coolant, air in the system or a bad relay?

It's not your AC fan is it?

I had the same issue. I didn't even have to start the engine. The engine is stone cold, all I have to do is put the ignition to "ON" position, and the fans will kick in.

Turns out to be the fan control module. I bought a new one from ebay for about $65, it's pretty easy to replace.

Bravo thanks for the fast reply but I can’t see the link you sent me. Maybe cause I’m new to this? First day in forum. Thanks

I think this is transmitted over forums. I just read this thread a few days ago and now noticed my fan stays on when the car is completely cold.

Thanks for the info, will get in there and have a close look where the module is. Already found it on eBay too.

This fixed it:

BECKARNLEY 203-0276 Cooling Fan Control Module
Amazon Amazon

Took a while to get it out. Had to move away radiator overflow reservoir to get in there.
Just finished my test drive. Parked the car for a while with the engine running and no A/C, and the fans went on after about 10 minutes, then turned off a minute later. No longer running at full speed.

Very happy. That whine was annoying, especially on cold engine.

You just need 10mm socket and elbow grease. Getting the plugs unplugged took the most time. Helps if you unscrew the module first.
