Doesn't that rattle and vibrate like a siv? I hear the gum (in one of those round plastic containers) in the door (where the water bottle insert is located) rattle and that makes me crazy.

I thought change would be far noisier...

That was my initial thought... but i don't even hear a peep out of those coins. Furthermore, I don't even have anything between the plastic tray and the coins. No "cloth" or "felt" or whatever. Just coins in a plastic tray, and they don't make a sound. Don't ask me how lol

I think it MAY have something to do with the energy being absorbed through the felt that's on the inside of the center console. The tray sits real snug in there. It's like putting the tray against some other piece of plastic versus putting the tray on a pillow. One absorbs the energy differently than the other. I think that's what it is now that I think about it.

Interesting. Good to know that one can buy the tray online as an accessory (liked earlier in the thread) since there are probably alot of folks out there that need to carry around change for tolls.

Not near my car but it fits fine. It covers the entire console of the 2010 on g37's. Not sure about the earlier years. There was another thread in the coupe section so there should be pics on the web. I assume the coupes and sedan have the same console though. I like this a lot better than the smaller one because it holds more stuff and has the separate area for coins. You just have to lift the entire thing out if you have anything underneath since the only pass though is for wires.
