+1 for RockAuto. Except for the shipping into Canada. The Posi-quiets are a good pad but I found they don't perform as well as OEM. The reduce dust and noise is great but the initial bite lacks. If I could go back and re-do my order, I would have gone with the Stoptech street performance pads.
The dealership charges a lot for a brake job. I've been quoted close to $600 per axle set for a brake service and doesn't include parts. Yikes.
So I said screw it, bought the parts and did my own brake job for significantly less than what the dealership quoted me.

This^^^If you don't mind more wheel dust, the Stoptech Street Pads (once they're properly bedded in) will be a significant improvement over OEM.
These are available at Rockauto too,
Front Pads CENTRIC 30908880 $49.79
Rear Pads CENTRIC 30909050 $37.79
The Stoptechs do not require shims and do not come w/ hardware kits.

Do you need to do rotors with each set of pads? I had my 2012x at the dealership and as part of their inspection, they said my rear pads are at a "4" on a scale where "2" means replace immediately and "10" is new pads. I've only got 20k miles, would you do rotors as well, or can I get away with just pads?
On another note, they recommended rotating my tires and balancing the wheels for $79. I can rotate tires (mine are not directional), but do they need to be balanced if they're just being moved to a different axle?

my brother's friend who's a manager at my local mavis is quoting me $289 each front and back for rotors and pads (parts and labor included). I guess he's throwing the friend discount there. My question is: how good are the parts they use at mavis? should i go for it? he mentioned that he'll be using better pads and rotors (not the cheap ones that they use for any daily commuter they work on)

+1 on Rockauto. I'm running the PowerStop Z23 kit which was about $305 there. Installed in my driveway a few Saturdays ago & no complaints with the kit so far. After properly bedding them in they stop fantastically.
