Agreed...
This is just a personal nitpick, but I could never get myself to purchase an older IS250/350 because of the font that was used on the console. Probably a terrible habit, but if it's something that I'm staring at all day, everyday, it has to look aesthetically pleasing to me.
That being said, this is PURELY my preference (so please don't take offense), but I'm not digging the italic comic sans font on the aluminum k-***. That being said, I'm sure there are people who love the look of the current logo on the aluminum k-***.
Otherwise, the k-**** look great. Would replace mine, but I'm still content with the M35/M56 k-***.

Re: Logo. b2a should totally be allowed to have a logo on their products. Nothing at all wrong with that. It's advertising, and it links their products to the company.
Friendly advice: Just make it less unobtrusive. Whole cost is definitely a concern with the following suggestion, I think it would be a nice touch... engrave the top of the shifter with *b2a* in a non-Comic Sans font. Something subtle that wouldn't really effect the feel of the ****.
Rochester has a good idea about a logo design contest where the winner gets a free (or even highly discounted) ****.
Thank you for making this. The more options the better!
