I had my G37 3 years and its time to change tires now, I only ran 38,000 miles for now, I did research that people will change 245-50-r17 instead of original one.

I want my car be more stable and less noise and have a good handling, Please advise which tires you would change?

All switching to a marginally wider tire will do is get you slightly slower acceleration and worse fuel economy, as well as decreased traction in the snow. If you think they look better, that's the only reason to have them.

Better overall traction and handling can usually be accomplished with a better tire, without having to go with a wider one.

If you want a quiet, all season tire that can perform on the occasions you feel like driving like a maniac, I'd recommend the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06. If ride comfort and low noise is more important than anything else, go with a grand touring tire. For that I like the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus. Put those on my mothers EX (she always complained about the ride with the big journey package 19's) and it turned it into a completely different car.

If you have the original RSA's that came on the car (and if you do, i'm curious what black magic you used to get almost 40K out of them) you could get just about anything and see an improvement

What type of tires are you looking for? Max extreme performance? Touring? All season? Winters? Rain performance? Long lasting?

I am replacing these tires tomorrow. They are rated at 70K and have gotten 37K out of them on my 2009 G37x. Discount tire is offering me 50% back on trades as they are at 4/32's already. Going with Pilot AS-3's this time.

I currently have the Conti DWS. Bought them at 4 wheel online. Traction on wet and dry roads is good. Never tried them in the snow though I hear good feedback about their winter performance. Sidewalls are a bit soft if that matters to you.

These are a competitor to the DWS and Pilot All-Seasons. They are a good all around tire, with good responsive performance in the dry. The snow performance is very good, but anything is better than the RS-A's.
