The link that says "reverse LED - Album on Imgur"

There's a pic of an eBay auction. Type that item number in the search field.

I hadn't realized that there was an auction for 4 bulbs until I placed the order for 2. I was able to cancel the order with the seller, and placed the order for 4, which ends up being $1 more...

Here's the link to the 4x bulbs:

Thanks. Placed an order too. Old age is catching up to me. Harder to see what's behind me when backing out in the dark.

Attention span is really limited these days. I remember seeing car pics in the imgur link but the ebay listing didn't register Come to think of it, most times I skip over forum posts with meaningless titles too.

I really hate shipping costs sometimes. $8.39 for the items, $12.54 to get it here. Decisions decisions.

I just ordered some. Free shipping to the USA. Hopefully they'll turn out like the pic in the link that was posted.

Mine should be here by week's end. I'm a pretty tough critic of practical use of aftermarket parts. Our driveway is blocked by trees so it gets very little of the available street lighting. Will make for an easy test to see if these help or not. Will post a review after installation.

I probably should of looked into how involved it would be to replace the backup lights before buying. Not like the old cars where it's a 2 min job. What are folks replacing that "seal packing" with? Pics/DYI for how to do this?

It's really simple. Remove the trunk liner clips and you have access to the reverse light.

I got mine on Friday but was gone all weekend. I'll install / shoot pics once it gets dark.

LED bulb recommendations...

I got mine and installed them...they replaced some single Cree LEDs that were 8watts or something....upon first glance they are not as bright but def have a wider range then the single backfiring Crees...one thing I did notice was that these bad boys get Extremely Hot, so hot that one of them turned off when I left the car in reverse for more then 75/90 seconds. My Crees never did that and they were in my old M45 for about 2 years prior to my G for the last two months....I might go back to the Crees ultimately. This is just an FYI for anyone with Crees

They do get hot, and that's expected as they are higher wattage than other LEDs in their range of size, but I never had the issue of them turning off.

I did however, order a pair for my buddy's dodge RAM, and had a problem with one of the bulbs flickering/lighting up half way. We changed that one out and was good to go after. They don't turn off on him either. I wonder if you just have a bad bulb like my buddy did too.

I installed the bulbs tonight, and they are MUCH brighter than the stock incandescents. The color is a nice, pure white - I'd say 5000k. The light the led gives off is a bit more focused than the OEM bulb. This is just due to the directionality of the "bulb", but it gives plenty of light where you need it.

I tried to get some decent pictures that showed the difference, but I didn't have much luck. I even got my DSLR and tripod out, but it just didn't properly represent what I was seeing. Oh well. You'll have to settle for these instead:

All in all, I am very satisfied. At 8.xx for 4, you really can't go wrong.
