Swapping stock Xs calipers.

Thinking about swapping my brake set up to the sport calipers. I hear it might be expensive, I'm waiting on a quote. Tired of looking at the rusty stock ones. Not sure I think my rotors will need to be swap too, hope so they rusty too.

What you think?

you can always paint yours for the time being...I can't seem to pull the trigger on a whole brake upgrade yet either

You can save a few hundred bucks if you shop around to piece one together.

https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...the-cheap.html

You will need new rotors/pads/calipers and some mounting hardware, and brake fluid (2 bottles of Motul RBF 600).

Well worth it.

I bought a set, ran them until I bought another set and had them painted and swapped them out. Then sold the other set at a slight profit. Huge difference in braking.

Yeah, the BBK is one of the very few mods that you should be able to recoup most of your purchase price (assuming the parts aren't too banged up).

Smh, a quote from the dealership;
The caliper you want will fit the rear wheel drive G37 no problem but the all-wheel drive version like yours has a different spindle in the front and it appears the bracket for the caliper will not fit it.

May have to go aftermarket.

It's pretty typical for them to give that kind of feedback unfortunately. Infiniti Corp told me that their policy is not to support, assist or facilitate any modifications not meant for the vehicle in its original configuration.

At the time I only wanted help with my turn signals...

The dealer part tech told me the similar thing when I asked about the sport front conversion back then. They said the the sport model and the base model have different chassis mounting points so bumpers are not compatible between models.
Your car is good man, other than cut the rear shield I dont think you would need to change any thing on your car. Go for the sport calipers if you got the fund.
