ARK Burnt Tip Muffler Delete?

Im looking to do a simple muffler delete on my sedan and I was wondering if anyone has done so with the ARK universal tips? Im hoping to get these ordered tonight or tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone has any pics of this done.

Well this thread is kinda dead but I got everything ordered. Went with the ARK 4.5" x 7.75" tips, found OEM exhaust that im going to use the V-band flanges from so everything will bolt right on.

Will update with pics of the process when i get them

Those are some nice looking tips. I thought about doing a muffler delete but I haven't decide on which tips to get yet. I'm curious about how this will look like also. In For pics!

I got them from THMotorsports.com, total after shipping and tax was close to $200. They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for, they're top notch.

For me, what are you calling "muffler delete?" I bought a G37 in May and am just now starting to think of what I might do. One is to use plastic dip and another 3M 1080 vinyl on the window chrome. TX

When people refer to a "muffler delete" it's essentially unbolting the rear axle back section of your exhaust, where the mufflers are. You weld new piping in its place and then take your pick with what tips you want to use. Alot of people use the stock ones but I wanted a more aggressive look so i went with the 4.5" offered from ARK. The muffler delete makes the exhaust slightly louder, no rasp, which is basically bringing that VQ sound up a couple notches. Not to mention its half the price as an aftermarket axle back exhaust such as Tanabe.

As far as the window trim goes, do like I did and wrap it. Its really easy and cheap. The problem with plasti dipping it is its a pain to get the trim back on after, many people have broken the clips when trying to remove it. The link below is a DIY for wrapping it and ill include my results as well. Hope this helps!

Thank you, Broski28. I looked on Google and found some Youtubes on muffler delete. Sound seems more than I would want so I will stick with vinyl wrap for now. I was thinking of the Plastic Dip for the Grille and the rear emblems. I saw a Youtube on that too. Any of it does seem to take some time. I looked at your other messages too. My G37 is gray and I have ordered gloss black vinyl.. Your car is sharp!

Those are some great pics, particularly that one. Love the look of a resonated double-wall. I don't like the huge diameter, nor the burnt-Ti look, but those are opinions about the tips when actually on the G Sedan. When they're just sitting there on a pool-side table, I think they're beautiful. Kind of a backhanded compliment, I know. Sorry.

Because of the thin (and blue) edge, they're presence is going to be all but invisible from a straight-on perspective, particularly after the resonated wall gets all sooted up. Perhaps you'll be able to keep that inner, beveled edge nicely polished, and mitigate that effect. Dunno. It doesn't look like ARK has polished the inner edge out of the box. Hmm.

In any event, getting what you want out of a mod is the whole point here. And you're clearly pretty happy so far. I hope that continues with the install.
